Tough loss last night fellas. All in all we played a really good game. This is one of those games that makes you realize you can't take any lead for granted. I am trying to work with the guy who schedules are games to try and get a game in between the now and june 28th which is our next scheduled game. Stay hungry out there fellas. I may have a day this week to go out to deep river to practice a little.

Game 11

We were tied 1-1 in the top of the 5th, when the lightning just got too close for comfort for the umpires. Waiting to hear from the Board to figure out if we are going to be able to finish this game suspended last night. It was good to see two players back from vacation. The winning streak is still alive. Lets take one from the ray's on sunday.

Good game vs. the Rangers guys. Started out a little sluggish but good at bats towards the end of the game really opened up the game for us. I hope that we can get a little better attendance as we continue on in the season. Playing with only 9 guys out of 18 players really wasn't what i had in mind for the season. I understand that there are going to be time that you guys can't make it but just let me know so I can pick up pool players. Thanks for your understanding. Three games in a row. Let's keep this streak going. Got the Yankees on Wed. Hope you guys can make it. Lets go Dodgers.

Sorry to you guys who had started making your way to the game last night but, after 4:30pm the city doesn't call the games. They have to be called at the field. Thanks for your patients on that matter. I know some of you guys come from distances. I hope you can understand my position. Last year we were playing at Leonard at 7:00 pm and it was pouring at Guilford College but when you got to Leonard it was bone dry and we still played. So, if i haven't called you just give me a call or when it is called i will try and call each and every one of you to let you know what is going on. Let's get the rangers on sunday, keep this winning streak alive.

Great game yesterday Guys. The bats really came alive and good defense with a couple of mistakes but didn't hurt us enough, still got the win. It is starting to feel like last year when people have been telling me that they are going to be there and for some reason can't make it but never call me. I really need you guys to call me if your not going to be there so i can be prepared for it. Other than that thanks to all who showed up and i will see you guys on Wed. Lets keep this roll going. Win streak now to 2 let's make it 3.

Sunday May 17th

This is going to be a big game for us guys. The Reds are thoroughly tough, they have multiple pitching options on their team, with hitting abilities. I believe that we are capable winning this game. Come with your game face on. The middle of the season is where everyone starts to get to know one another on their team as well as the other teams players. So everyone will be up to snuff on how good each team is. Let's take the win against the national's and get on a roll! See you guys Sunday.

This is what I have been waiting for, is a game were the defense is there the pitching is there, and the offense was there. That was a great game to all of the guys who were at the game, I wish that everyone was there to enjoy that game. The next game isn't for a while so if anyone wants to get together and throw or hit just give me a call and we can get together. Hope all you guys are doing well. Lets take this win and go on a roll.

Tough lost to a MSBL division team. Didn't really show up with the bats that night. But things will work themselves out. I am sure of it 0-4-1 on the season. No need to hit the panic button just yet. We just need to show up and it will all come together here soon, i can feel it.

Game 4

The bats came alive and the defense was much better in game 4. Unfortunately the game ended on Time at 12-12 tie. But i believe that we are headed in a direction that i am proud to say is a positive one. We have almost everyone at that last game which i was thoroughly pleased with. I hope that everyone is a pleased as I was about yesterday's performances. There is a possibility of thunderstorms on Thurs. so keep checking the website for updates. Let's make the next one a W.

Game 3 scored our first runs of the season. I feel we are starting to make good strides at the plate as a team. We just need to cleanup some of the defense, but other than that I love the fact that we are having at least 11 show up every game. That is very pleasing to see the commitment that these guys have this year. Baby steps, seems to be what we are doing right now. So lets get a W next weekend. See you guys there.

Game 2 was a little more promising for the dodgers. Scattered 6 hits throughout the game with 4 BB. Things are starting to come around hitting wise, and the pitching kept us in the game with Doug Bridges, and Chris Gaines(2 innings in relief). Things are starting to come together so keep it up guys for game 3 is on Sunday. Look foreward to seeing everyone there.

Yes, It was a rough game one for the Triad Dodgers yesterday as we fell to the A's 19-0 but, no worries at this point. Got to see all of the pitching that we have to offer this season with the exception of 1 person. We are definetly going to have a good team this season. I believe that the bats will come around, and the fielding will get better, after some of the new guys start to see some live pitching. Our next game isn't for 10 days so hopefully we will going out blazing next wed. against the Red Sox. Looking foreward to it guys. Lets pick it up for game Two. Have a good Easter everyone.
